The Peekskill / Cortlandt Amateur Radio Association, Inc. (PCARA) is an All-Volunteer Nonprofit Community Service Organization [501(c)(3)] Serving the Greater Peekskill / Cortlandt Area of Westchester and Putnam Counties in New York State.

PCARA operates three voice repeaters in the Northern Westchester / Southern Putnam County region of New York State.  All three repeaters have received frequency coordination through UNYREPCO.

PCARA is available to provide communications support at community events as well as emergency and supplemental communications during times of natural or man-made disasters.

Although many events are held in the Peekskill / Cortlandt region of Westchster and Putnam Counties, ALL amateur radio operators and radio enthusiasts are most welcome to participate in PCARA activities no matter where they live.  Many PCARA members live throughout the Hudson Valley Region.
